Latest Matador MP 54 Sibir Snow Reviews

Given 72% while driving a Volkswagen Golf (185/65 R14 T) on a combination of roads for 3,450 average miles
After 5500 km I can say that, more or less, I'm satisfied with this tyres.
They gives good grip on snowy roads. With appropriate speed wet snow or mud are also not a problem.
So far, no bad experience with braking on wet or dry asphalt and with cornering too.
What I mind is noticeable rolling resistance, which I tried to eliminate to some point by pumping 0,3 bar more pressure than prescribed.
These tires can do good job, and basically they are doing it for me, but with not pushing the limits.
Price is more than acceptable.

Given 80% while driving a Renault Laguna sport tourer (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Replaced Accelerax2 and Eventx2 summer tyres. Horrendous handling in wet, and not much better in any other conditions.
But we are now speaking of Matador Sibir Snow.
Had to fit winter tyres to satisfy European laws. Was travelling to Poland from U.K..
In all conditions other than snow, which was not encountered, these perform in an outstanding manner. For a so called mid range tyre, they out class many premium brands.
Unbeatable value, and running extremely well, will keep them on for the summer.
Have done this before with previous winter rubber, and they inspire confidence, no matter the season.
Wish I could report on snow grip though ....................
